I like to work with color palettes that convey a sense of calm and peace. The composition of my artwork is influenced by the events in my life. When I experience something that fuels an emotion, I take it in and let it back out onto the canvas. Through the creative process, I find clarity and a place to reflect with gratitude. About the Artist
Erica Kyle is a self-taught artist based in West Palm Beach, Florida, primarily working in acrylics. Drawing and painting have been a lifelong source of comfort and creative expression. Over the years, her art has evolved through exploration of different mediums and a process of trial and error. Art took a backseat for several years as Erica focused on her career and family. Ultimately feeling unfulfilled with art missing from her life, Erica could no longer ignore her passion. She now creates and exhibits work regularly, and is actively involved with local art organizations.
Through art, Erica channels the restless emotions within, only fully realizing their significance once it's released onto canvas. Spiritually symbolic birds are a recurring subject of her work, their presence is a beacon of hope and inspiration amidst the emotional backdrops of her paintings. Erica also enjoys documenting her travels on canvas, painted in distinct palettes to capture the timeless essence of each location.
